New Sports Hall – Completed December 2016

Project value; £45,000.00

This project was a small package for B M Hepburn, but challenging none the less. It included the following trade installations;

• SFS External Walls with external cladding boards

• Ardex quick drying floor screed

• Air tightness membranes

• Acoustic wall linings

• Insulation

• Tape & Joint finishing

This project was challenging not only due to the programme of the build, but due to the design. B M Hepburn fully engaged the design of the SFS which was built off of the ever more popular Portakabin construction of the classroom block. The key to our success on this project was our full engagement with the main contractor ‘Walker Construction’ from a very early stage. This enabled us to iron out any potential difficulties well before we commenced on site. The project was finished bang on schedule and the client was delighted with the end product. We look forward to further successful projects with Walker Construction.
