I started with the company in August 2000 fresh out of school to follow my aspirations to join the family business. In the September I started studying for an ONC in Building Studies at Brighton College, achieving a pass in all subjects two years later. I then decided to continue my education at Brighton University, working to achieve an HNC in Building Studies after a further two years. During this time, due to my love for design and the technical aspects of the industry, I also studied and successfully achieved a City & Guilds in AutoCAD. In my early days I concentrated my efforts in the field of Quantity Surveying and generally learning the commercial aspect of the business. As my position grew to a more senior level I passed these responsibilities to our now senior QS Martyn, learning the art of estimating and general management of the business from day to day. I have been instrumental, alongside my brother Matthew, in expanding the business over the past few years and diversifying / adding to the services that we provide.

Outside of work I am very much a family man, enjoying valuable time with my wife and our 3 young children. With any remaining spare moments I am also a keen sportsman competing on the cricket field or the golf course. Of an evening I am a very sociable person, frequenting my favourite local restaurants and, of course, the odd bar or two!
