After achieving A Levels in media studies, business studies and PE at Bedes School, I joined B M Hepburn Ltd in 2004 learning the various trades we offer as a company by working on site in a hands on role. I moved in to the office environment in 2005 becoming a trainee QS, something I found I was suited to having been educated to understand business culture and ethics and being naturally comfortable with numbers.

Over the years I progressed to position of Senior QS, pricing works and collating all information to present to clients and working with and training an assistant QS. Whilst assisting with the management of the business through continued periods of growth, I progressed to the role of Managing Surveyor, managing a handful of surveyors, utilising the site knowledge of contracts managers and overseeing the majority of our accounts. I began my current role of Commercial Director in May 2016 and am heavily involved in all commercial aspects of the business along with the day to day running of projects and pricing of new works.

In my time away from work, I love spending time with my partner and our son, I play cricket for and am on the management committee of Eastbourne cricket club and am a keen fan of football and in particular Arsenal FC.
